Social entrepreneur, special diplomatic envoy, investor, entrepreneur, business mentor, speaker and author, Bill co-founded the business social network service XING and is a venture partner at SOSV, a global venture capital and investment management firm. Founder of WeForest.org, an international not-for-profit organisation combating global warming in the most natural way possible, Bill is also Co-Founder of the CoderDojo movement that helps young people learn how to program, which is now part of the Raspberry Pi Foundation.
Vice Chair of Trustees
Beth is an experienced Trustee and board advisor. She’s currently Director of Communications and Engagement at social business and charity Catch22, working to build the resilience of individuals and transform communities. Leading on marketing and external affairs, Beth is responsible for positioning Catch22 at the heart of the public services reform debate. Her communications experience spans the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector and across innovative tech and banking companies.
Honorary Treasurer and Senior Independent Trustee
Hannah is Head of Innovation at Cancer Research UK and previously led their award-winning Citizen Science Programme. She adds immense value to the work of the Trust with her direct experience of implementing and harnessing technology for social change in the health sector, and leadership experience in the charity sector. Her current focus is on developing and delivering new ways of engaging the public with health and cancer information. Hannah trained as a Chartered Accountant and has worked at Deloitte, Emerge Poverty Free and Innocent Drinks.
Trustee and Committee Chair
Sebastien is an entrepreneur with a strong interest in internet-related projects. He’s a Director of hosting company NetConnex and co-founder of independent broadband information resource thinkbroadband.com. Sebastien is also a Non-Executive Director of the London Internet Exchange (LINX), one of the global leaders of Internet Exchange Points with over 600 connected networks. Previously he has served as Chairman of LONAP, the UK's second largest Internet Exchange operator, and as Senior Independent Director at Nominet. Sebastien holds BSc Management and MSc Information Systems degrees from the London School of Economics.
Nick is Chief Executive Officer of Social Investment Business and a leading figure in the social investment and enterprise sectors. As well as serving as Chair of Social Investment Forum, Nick was previously Deputy CEO at Social Enterprise UK, where he helped the biggest network of social enterprises in the UK more than treble its membership numbers, develop its Buy Social Corporate Challenge and led the organisation on healthcare and research. Previously, Nick worked with organisations including the British Council and UnLtd.
